Senior Estimation Manager

As a senior estimation manager at Green by Nature, you will oversee the entire estimating process from initial bid preparation to final submission. You will lead the development of accurate cost estimates for maintenance and service-based contracts in the landscape construction, sports turf, and horticulture industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of accurate cost estimates for maintenance and service-based contracts.
  • Conduct material quantity take-offs and analyze project specifications to accurately estimate labor, materials, and time requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations managers, the bid services team, and other internal stakeholders to prepare estimate documentation and costings.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, industry trends, and pricing.
  • Present bids to senior management for approval and participate in bid review meetings.
  • Monitor and track bid results and provide feedback for future improvements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
