Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential support to aged care consumers in their own homes, empowering them to live independently and with dignity.

Your role will involve providing personal care, monitoring and reporting any changes or concerns regarding the consumer's wellbeing, assisting with medication, light housework, and other tasks that promote independence and safety.

You will be working alongside a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional care and support to vulnerable members of our community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing person-centered care to meet the unique needs and preferences of each consumer
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes or concerns regarding consumer wellbeing
  • Assisting with medication and other health-related tasks
  • Supporting consumers with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, and meal preparation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience in providing customer-focused support in a home care or aged care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • A current driver's license and reliable vehicle for work purposes
