About the Role

Harris Farm Markets is seeking a skilled Meat Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing, promotional, and product maintenance within the butcher category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing high-quality products that meet our business requirements
  • Working with inbound supply and demand teams to ensure continuous supply of product to our store network
  • Collaborating with store operations to ensure the right products are ranged in the right stores with correct stock levels to meet consumer demand

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in retail buying or a similar role
  • A passion for food and a strong understanding of supply and demand forecasting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
