The Role

This permanent, full-time FIFO opportunity on an 8:6 roster from Perth to our Mt Holland mine site requires a skilled Condition Monitoring Technician. You will be a crucial member of our Maintenance Reliability Engineering team, executing condition monitoring activities within health, safety, environmental, HR, and asset management policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish a strong health and safety culture through active participation
  • Develop the Condition Monitoring program to complement proactive maintenance strategies
  • Manage vibration, lubrication, and thermography-based predictive maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability
  • Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers during fixed plant equipment installation
  • Coordinate specialist condition monitoring contractors to ensure accurate data collection
  • Establish a Condition Monitoring database and reporting system to track performance metrics
  • Support planned and breakdown maintenance to optimise asset quality and uptime
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and work procedures
Key Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in fixed plant maintenance with conveyors, ball mills, crushers, apron feeders, screens, pumps, DMS, flotation, etc.
  • Experience in vibration analysis and associated software, preferably Level 2 or above
  • Experience in Oil/wear debris analysis and thermography, preferably at a minimum of Level 1
  • Relevant Trade qualification and Certificate III in Condition Monitoring
