Our graduate program is designed to provide a seamless transition into the role of an occupational therapist.

We offer a high level of supervision and ongoing support, ensuring you feel confident in your abilities from day one.

A dedicated buddy will be assigned to you, providing guidance and support throughout your journey. Additionally, we provide fortnightly technical training sessions to enhance your clinical skills.

You will also have access to experienced mentors who are passionate about delivering therapy in our well-equipped clinics, client's homes, schools, and via telehealth. This will give you the opportunity to learn from the best and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

As part of our close-knit team, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver holistic care. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that you will be working with a range of skilled professionals who share your passion for making a difference.

Your role as an occupational therapist involves:

  • Assisting children in achieving their developmental milestones, such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, which enables them to engage in play, school, or independent activities
  • Educating and involving parents, carers, and others to facilitate the development and learning of children
  • Helping children with developmental delays master everyday tasks, such as bathing, getting dressed, brushing their teeth, and feeding themselves
  • Supporting children with behavioral issues to maintain positive behaviors in all environments, such as using positive ways to deal with anger instead of hitting others
