About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dog Trainer to join our team on a casual/part time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering dog training classes and one on one sessions, as well as undertaking retail sales assistant work as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dog training classes and one on one dog training
  • Retail training and store procedures
  • In-depth training of our Pet Academy classes and operations
  • Deliver dog training content within animal welfare and ethics guidelines
  • Undertake regular paid training sessions with senior Trainers

Requirements

  • Passion for animal behaviour and training
  • Positive reinforcement based training experience or qualifications
  • Commitment to the care of pets
  • Public speaking and presentation experience
  • High integrity and motivation
  • Ability to communicate to all levels
  • Retail experience working with a high volume, disciplined retailer
  • Animal studies qualifications highly regarded
