We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our team at HealthcareLink Support in North Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapist to take on an existing caseload and make a significant impact on the lives of athletes and patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for athletes and patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
  • Implement advanced physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, and sports-specific rehabilitation techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with sports medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in professional development activities, including continuing education and training, to stay abreast of current best practices in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
  • Lead and mentor junior physiotherapists and allied health assistants.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Qualifications: Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registration: Current full AHPRA registration
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in sports & MSK
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and sports-specific rehabilitation. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a collaborative approach to patient care and team management.
