We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement activities on large-scale construction, mining, or oil & gas projects. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end project procurement activities, ensuring value for money, best outcomes, and high-performing supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage procurement packages from prequalification through to contract award.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and value for money outcomes.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with project governance, reporting, and auditing requirements.
- Collaborate with the wider project management team to identify and mitigate risks.
As a values-driven leader with commercial acumen, you will have demonstrated experience in driving collaborative and sustainable long-term outcomes. You will work closely with the commercial and legal teams to ensure high-performing supplier partnerships and collaboration.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:- Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, commerce, engineering, or business.
- Demonstrated experience in major projects, preferably in the construction, mining, or oil & gas sectors.
- Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies and value for money outcomes.
