Project Lead

The role of Product Design and Engineering Project Manager is to support the Head of Product Design and Engineering in overseeing product design and research and development projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can drive and motivate a team to deliver their best work. The ideal candidate will have experience working as an engineer or industrial designer, project management skills, and the ability to work with and lead teams effectively.

This position requires someone who can adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, breaking down complex tasks into manageable milestones, determining resource allocation, and maintaining project momentum.

Sleeping Duck is a dynamic business with ambitious projects and multiple competing priorities. We need someone who can work closely with all members of the project team to ensure they have what they need to complete their work efficiently.

This role involves late night meetings and occasional travel overseas. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving results and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
