About the Role

As a senior leader, you will drive positive resident experiences and staff engagement while optimising residential assets. This role oversees several sites and their respective Community Managers across VIC and Northern NSW.

Key responsibilities include working with the Regional Manager to implement business strategic plans for each asset, driving improved cash flow and profit performance for the portfolio, and ensuring consistent engagement with residents and their families.

  • Implement business strategic plans for each asset in collaboration with the Regional Manager.
  • Maximise permanent site yield and average sales price while efficiently managing the cost base.
  • Ensure effective communication and building key relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Deliver resident activities and internal promotional activities to enhance team member and customer experiences.
  • Formulate annual capital plans for the portfolio to improve asset value, including lifecycle costing program management.

Leadership:

  • Develop direct reports' understanding of business objectives and accountabilities and foster staff engagement.
  • Actively recruit and induct new team members to support the team's growth and development.
  • Perform performance management, counselling, and disciplinary action of direct reports to maintain a productive work environment.
  • Create an environment that rewards and recognises individual and team performance.

Financial Management:

  • Provide feedback and support to the Regional Manager to set annual budgets and planning.
  • Monitor and review the performance of each community and implement strategies to overcome underperformance.

About You:

  • Strong focus on enhancing the customer experience through leadership and strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee engagement and experience-driven commercial outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident and proficient at dealing with people at all levels.
  • Previous experience/background in hospitality, workplace experience, or community living is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and ability to identify opportunities are essential.
  • Ability to think and operate laterally within the organisation is crucial.
