Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team of passionate engineers, designers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed designs for water sector projects including site layouts, earthworks, stormwater management systems and road designs.
  • Develop and implement design templates and drawing standards.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers to deliver plans for construction.
  • Support project teams with documentation, revisions and coordination of drawings.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

About You

You'll be someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality designs and has a strong understanding of Autodesk Civil 3D and other relevant CAD software.

  • Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, operational practices and relevant Australian standards.
  • Relevant TAFE qualifications, diploma or degree in drafting, engineering or design.
  • Understanding of risk management and ability to identify project and design-related risks.
  • Commitment to working safely and within our HSEQ systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
