Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Turf Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our turf areas remain lush, healthy, and resilient.

Salary Information

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $80,000 per annum, reflecting their expertise and value to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance turf areas through regular tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing.
  • Monitor turf health and proactively address issues like pests, diseases, and compaction using cultural and chemical practices.
  • Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies and pest management techniques.
  • Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment and machinery for optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
  • Cricket Wicket experience.
  • Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.
  • Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
