Primary Learning Leader Position

This key role focuses on supporting teachers in driving improved student outcomes through collaborative approaches.

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide expert guidance on classroom pedagogy and planning, as well as facilitating the use of data to inform instructional adjustments.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of literacy and numeracy demands and practices within various curriculum areas, as well as expertise in promoting and facilitating these strategies across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to teachers on classroom pedagogy and planning.
  • Support teachers in using formative assessment to inform teaching and curriculum decisions.
  • Facilitate the use of data to track student progress and inform instructional adjustments.
  • Promote and facilitate an understanding of literacy and numeracy demands and practices within each curriculum area.

Requirements:

  • Relevant contemporary skills and experience in education leadership and pedagogy.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to track student progress.
  • Expertise in promoting and facilitating literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum areas.
  • Knowledge of literacy and numeracy strategies and practices within various curriculum areas.

Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Current registration with the relevant state teaching authority.

About You:

To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including mentoring, coaching, and advising teachers on classroom pedagogy and planning.

Experience in promoting and facilitating literacy and numeracy strategies across curriculum areas is highly desirable. Knowledge of literacy and numeracy strategies and practices within various curriculum areas will also be beneficial.
