Freight Logistics Assistant

Dockhands are required to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment at a leading freight distribution centre. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a warehouse setting and are looking for great hourly rates with fantastic opportunities.

Our client specialises in large freight distribution worldwide, located in Eagle Farm. With excellent hours on offer, why not join this well-established team?

The Role:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers from loading docks
  • Using labelling systems to mark containers
  • Measuring, weighing and recording products and materials
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with regular physical activity

What We Are Looking For:

  • A current and valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proven experience in a warehouse environment
  • Previous experience with freight handling is highly beneficial
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills and good literacy skills
  • A safety-conscious attitude and ability to work independently and within a team

Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday shifts available (day and afternoon)
  • 4 hour shifts with the ability for split shifts if wanted
  • Pre-employment medical and national police check conducted prior to commencement
