About the Role:

 

We are seeking an Electrical Specialist to join our Energy Services Team at Port Kembla Manufacturing facility in New South Wales, Australia.

 

This role is part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, which includes six major manufacturing sites that deliver innovative solutions and services to our customers.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and improving maintenance strategies to achieve optimum equipment performance and reduction in failures. They will develop isolation instructions and job safety analysis for required work, perform equipment inspections, and detailed planning and condition monitoring of equipment.

 

Additionally, the successful candidate will fault-find on electrical equipment including PLCs, drives, and instrumentation systems, and contribute to site management of contractors and maintenance service providers.

 

Requirements:

  • Evidence of electrical trade qualifications
  • A current NSW Electrical licence
  • A commitment to your own safety, wellbeing, and care for others
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment and electrical schematics
  • Ability to utilise fault-finding skills in a cross-discipline team environment
