The Role

We are seeking a reliable and friendly lifeguard to join our team on a casual basis. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons and maintaining a clean and enjoyable environment around our pools.

You will have a passion for safety around the water and excellent communication skills to interact with patrons of all ages and abilities. You will also need to be energetic, dynamic, and fun, with a commitment to customer service excellence.

Hours may vary, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with the possibility of increased hours during peak seasons, public holidays, and school holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of patrons and maintain a clean environment around the pools
  • Communicate effectively with patrons of all ages and abilities
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Hold current certifications in First Aid (Level 2), CPR, and Pool Lifeguarding
  • Have a current National Police Check clearance and Working with Children's Check

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Current certifications in First Aid (Level 2), CPR, and Pool Lifeguarding
