Housekeeper Role

A Housekeeper is required to work in a remote mining environment, providing cleaning and catering services to field-based staff on mobile camps and villages across Queensland.

About the Position:
  • This autonomous role requires strong time management skills and a high standard of cleanliness in camp facilities, including accommodation rooms, communal areas, and shared amenities.
  • Additional duties may include transporting meals, assisting with stock deliveries, and food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Room cleaning, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, showers, toilets, and laundry services are essential.
  • General cleaning and housekeeping duties in communal areas, including dining rooms, gyms, walkways, and outdoor areas, are also required.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to stand for long periods and complete physical duties such as walking, bending, lifting, and stretching.
  • Manual driver's license mandatory.
  • Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
