The Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to work with a talented team of professionals on exciting projects that transform and improve the lives of Australians. As a Maritime and Coastal Engineer, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients and delivering projects that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical stewardship of the Pitt&sherry Maritime Structures Team
  • Technical review of deliverables to ensure output of a technically high standard
  • Mentoring and managing a small team of junior team members
  • Management of engineering projects across the country
  • Delivering coastal infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, condition assessments, and design of coastal structures
  • Building strong relationships with clients to expand our presence in the Maritime sector
  • Completing site visits as required
What You Bring

We are looking for an experienced engineer with extensive technical experience in maritime structures and ports. You will have a strong ability to draw on engineering foundations to resolve technical challenges and provide technical leadership to the Maritime and Coastal team.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Strand7 and Spacegass or equivalent packages
  • Experience with Swan One, SWAN – GUI, DELFT3 D, IH2 VOF, XBEACH, or equivalent packages will be viewed favourably
