Building and Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Building and Maintenance Manager to join our Facilities Management team at Cygnet West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of our high-end CBD residential apartment complex.
Key Responsibilities:- Building Operations: Assist the Senior Facilities Manager with the coordination of building operations, installations, facilities, and systems.
- Service Contract Management: Assist with the management of all service contracts to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Building Inspections: Conduct regular building inspections and associated reporting to identify areas for improvement.
- Incident Management: Respond to and manage incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Contractor Inductions: Ensure all contractors are properly inducted and aware of site protocols.
- OH&S Compliance: Ensure all work carried out on-site is in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Energy Efficiency: Review building systems to maintain efficient energy consumption.
- Ad Hoc Maintenance: Perform ad hoc maintenance tasks as required.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong focus on customer relationships and service delivery. A trade qualification or maintenance background is highly desirable. Additional skills and qualities that will ensure your success include:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and mature-minded individual who can work independently.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of Australian Standards, Building Codes, and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Health Act.
