About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s) to remove barriers to successful implementation and enable a continued focus on the task at hand.
  • Facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identify and report progress via appropriate metrics.
  • Ensure that all Scrum events are productive and time-boxed.
  • Remove any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Assist the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring that the team understands the product goals.
  • Promote collaboration between team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and information exchange.
  • Ensure that the team follows Scrum principles and practices, and helps them adapt to changes as needed.
  • Monitor the team's progress using tools like burndown charts and other metrics to ensure that the team is on track to meet their goals.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience on Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Knowledge about AEM components, forms, and templates.
  • Awareness of AEM content authoring.
  • Experience leading large projects from inception to delivery.
  • Good understanding of Scrum and other related project management practices.
  • Agile project management experience.
