Climate Solutions Manager

We are seeking a Climate Solutions Manager to lead and shape projects at the intersection of quantum computing and climate technology. This role presents a unique opportunity to leverage fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) to create transformative impact in reducing global emissions and unlocking the commercial value of the decarbonization transition.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyze specific or broad classes of climate-tech use cases, with an emphasis on/initially relating to the Australian context.
  • Assess potential quantum advantages, business/financial impact, feasibility, and monetization strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners in Australia to identify and develop innovative solutions in areas such as energy generation, energy storage, clean fuels, and carbon capture.

This position is ideal for someone eager to bridge technical expertise, business strategy, and client engagement to drive the success of initiatives in climate technologies via quantum computing.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years full-time experience in a high-pace environment such as management consulting or investment.
  • Familiarity with broad classes of climate technologies critical; familiarity with underlying cost drivers of these technologies preferred.
  • Technical degree(s) preferred (e.g., chemistry, physics, engineering).
