Warehousing Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehousing Specialist to join our team for the cherry season. As a vital member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of goods through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, loading and unloading pallets and raw products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow instructions and procedures for product handling and storage, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Drive the forklift safely in shared zones, following traffic management plans and instructions from supervisors.
  • Assist other areas of the business as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • A current Victorian forklift license is mandatory.
  • At least 1 year's experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • A good command of English is necessary, with the ability to communicate effectively using two-way radios.
  • Experience working in a fresh food handling facility is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace health and safety are paramount.
