Employment and Career Development Role

In this role, you will collaborate with individuals to explore their career aspirations, build confidence, and support them into meaningful employment. You will understand individual strengths and goals, offer tailored coaching, link to opportunities, and work with employers to create pathways.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Source and create career opportunities matching clients to suitable roles.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity focusing on people with disability, injury or health condition.
  • Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
  • Broker work experience to develop participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote Royal Rehab Group as a trusted provider assisting people with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Meet performance benchmarks.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services desirable.
  • Ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively.
  • Understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Current Driver's License essential.
