Senior Network Architect

At Superloop, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network infrastructure to ensure maximum performance and availability.
- Proactively monitor network performance and troubleshoot faults to resolve escalated network issues.
- Adhere to all network security standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members on technical issues and provide guidance on network documentation and inventory.
- Collaborate with other business units to ensure seamless network operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our network remains secure and efficient.
Requirements:
- Degree in Telecommunications or related field.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a networking related role.
- In-depth knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 networks, ethernet switching technologies, and IP routing and forwarding.
- Strong understanding of Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), MPLS L2/L3 VPN, and RSVP MPLS-TE.
- Ability to work without supervision and in a team environment.
- Strong customer service ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound project management skills and strong documentation skills.
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent experience highly regarded.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of EVPN-VPWS, EVPN-ELAN, and VXLAN BGP-EVPN.
- Experience of managing Cisco NCS 5000, 5500, 8200, and ASR9000 platforms.
- Experience of using Grafana and Observium.
- Strong understanding of NBN products and services.
- Experience and knowledge of network automation using Python, Ansible, etc.
