The Role

To support our harvest season, we are seeking team-orientated and safety-minded workers on a casual basis.

  • Ensure grain is received, stored, loaded, and moved in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Export WA Grain to international destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring grain is received, handled and maintained within receival standards
  • Ensuring grain loaded on export vessels is correct, free of contaminants and within specifications
  • Maintaining a high standard of hygiene across the site
  • Receiving instructions for the collection, preparation, testing and storage of grain samples
  • Maintaining a safe working area for all employees and customers

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, reliable, hands-on, and enjoys working outdoors

  • A strong commitment to working safely and contributing to a safe working environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Willing to undertake and acquire basic machinery skills and experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, use of compressed air lances and in areas of high grain dust concentration

Certifications (desirable): HR licence, front end loader ticket, confined space, working at heights
