Heavy Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Cleanaway, a leading waste management company in Australia. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine and unplanned servicing to our fleet of assets, including diagnostics, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair work.
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be working in a fast-paced workshop environment, collaborating with our equipment manager and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet. You will also be responsible for assisting with planning the daily operations of the workshop and contributing to a safe and sustainable work environment.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a Certificate III in Engineering (Heavy Diesel Mechanic) or equivalent, a valid HR licence, and mechanical experience with a range of heavy vehicles. You will also have a focus on safety and sustainability, and be willing to complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
We are looking for someone with a good attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Experience in electrics and/or hydraulics is desirable, but not essential. If you are a motivated and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
