About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Production Team Member to join our team at Spence Doors in Cheltenham VIC. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for constructing fire doors and other specialized doors, as well as general jobbing work fitting special hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct fire doors and other specialized doors to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Perform general jobbing work, including fitting special hardware, and read and understand workshop drawings.
- Identify and handle different material types and thicknesses, and conduct quality control checks on your own work.
- Meet daily targets and complete required paperwork, while adhering to PPE guidelines and company standards.
Requirements
- Tradesperson or equivalent work experience, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within tolerance and maintain production levels as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow direction and work independently.
- Compliance with company standards and procedures, including WHS guidelines.
