We are seeking a skilled glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with glass and mirror installation, as well as proficiency in operating state-of-the-art cutting machinery.

**Job Description:**

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, finishing, fitting and installing flat windows and doors, glass and mirrors including UPVC.

**Requirements:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Three years of relevant experience in the industry.
  • Experience with UPVC is essential.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Determining the type and dimensions of glass required.
  • Laying glass over patterns on padded tables and in jigs.
  • Measuring and marking glass for cutting.
  • Examining glass and marking defective areas.
  • Cutting along patterns and templates.
  • Breaking off sheets and excess glass using notched tools and glass pliers.
  • Installing glass and mirrors in windows, skylights, display cases, interior walls and ceilings.
  • Smoothing rough edges using belt sanders and smoothing wheels.
  • Coating, cutting, etching, trimming and treating glass to achieve special effects.
  • Using state-of-the-art cutting machinery.
  • Familiarity with the assembly of IGU production.
  • A good understanding of European UPVC windows.

**Working Conditions:**

This is an 8 hour shift, in-person work location position.
