Position Highlights

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position at the College, scheduled to commence Term. The successful candidate will have a real passion for developing a love of learning in young people and be committed to helping our students grow as enthusiastic, resourceful and self-disciplined learners.

About You

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy. To excel in this role, you will be able to:

  • demonstrate support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education
  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Religious Education from Year 7-12
  • utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
  • show strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
