AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Canberra. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and mentor teams, delivering complex infrastructure projects that transform the city's transport and urban development landscape.

We are expanding our Civil Infrastructure business, and this position plays a critical role in shaping our future growth. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, assessing site investigations, and designing master plans for various civil infrastructure projects.

Your proactive approach to delivering high-quality outputs will be key to meeting client expectations and contributing to the growth of our business through strong client relationships and work-winning.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and support colleagues, fostering learning and knowledge sharing within the team. With extensive experience in consulting on Civil Infrastructure projects across various stages of the design and development lifecycle, you will demonstrate your ability to develop and evaluate options, arriving at preferred solutions in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

We value candidates with a proven track record of working to ACT Government and/or TfNSW standards, as well as technical skills in general earthworks and grading, roads and intersections, stormwater drainage, water and sewer reticulation, specifications, and Bills of Quantities. Strong communication skills, project or team management experience, and a commitment to exceptional client service are essential for success in this role.
