As a Cyber Security Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality course material to students at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lectures to students on various topics related to Cyber Security.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching methods and assessment strategies.

Additionally, you will engage with external organizations, industry groups and RMIT staff to enhance the quality of our courses and programs.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in teaching Cyber Security (ICT) or a related field.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to teaching and consultancy environments.
  • Experience in relevant industry and substantial discipline knowledge.
  • Able to diagnose learning problems in students and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly regarded:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122)
  • A minimum Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 5 Diploma in IT or equivalent
  • Cisco Intro to Cyber Security
  • Cisco Cyber Essentials
  • Cisco Junior Security Analyst
  • Cisco Cyber Ops
  • Certificate IV in Cyber Security
