We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our highly valued allied health team in Cleveland. As an occupational therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting the independence of our community clients by improving aspects of their daily living.
About YouYou will be someone who loves the client-focused aspect of your work and is keen to join an organisation that promotes innovation and development within allied health. We welcome applications from new graduates or those with experience in the community, private practice or hospital sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct home-based evaluations, devise care plans, and write functional reports.
- Assess the home environment and prescribe aids, equipment, and modifications as required.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement group therapy programs as needed.
- Have excellent communication and time management skills.
- A degree in occupational therapy and current registration with AHPR.
- A first aid certificate with CPR.
- A national police certificate.
- A current driver's license.
- Membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists, Queensland.
