Grounds Person

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Person to join our team. This is a dynamic role that involves maintaining and developing the property to the highest standard.

As a Grounds Person, you will be responsible for ensuring that both guests and colleagues enjoy beautifully presented gardens, landscaped areas, and outdoor facilities. This includes planting, caring for, and maintaining scheduled stock, as well as mulching, weeding, pruning, chain sawing, and rubbish removal/pick-up.

This is a full-time role with a rotational roster, including some weekends and public holidays.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess landscaping or hard landscaping experience, such as paving, grouting, and building retaining walls. You will also need to be capable of effectively performing tasks in an outdoor environment often un-supervised.

Required qualifications include holding a current Victorian drivers license and having appropriate and current tickets for relevant plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop the property to the highest standard.
  • Care for and maintain scheduled stock, including plants, trees, and other vegetation.
  • Perform various tasks such as mulching, weeding, pruning, chain sawing, and rubbish removal/pick-up.
  • Ensure that all work is performed safely and efficiently.
