Coordinating Fieldwork Excellence

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the delivery of high-quality fieldwork placements for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely availability of learning materials via our Learning Management System.
  • Manage student support activities and academic integrity matters related to fieldwork placements.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to foster stakeholder relationships and coordinate student fieldwork placements.
  • Act as primary academic contact for fieldwork placements in Community Services programs.
  • Undertake assessment responsibilities and ensure placement tasks meet professional accreditation standards.
  • Oversee the work of Academic Liaison Visitors and workplace assessors who visit students at fieldwork placements.
  • Contribute to best practices in teaching, fieldwork placement, and assessment, enhancing our reputation as a quality provider in community services education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Community Services, Social Work, or Human Services, with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • A TAE41116/TAE40221 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher preferred, or willingness to undertake study within the first year of engagement.
  • Full membership or eligibility for full membership of Community Work Australia (CWA).
  • Knowledge of contemporary developments in fieldwork placement, supervision, and community services education and industry informed by continuing scholarship and/or practice.
  • Understanding of the accreditation requirements and Code of Ethics of Community Work Australia (CWA).
  • Experience in supervising community services students during fieldwork placements.
