About the Role

Ventia is seeking a skilled Carpentry Professional to join our Department of Transport contract team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role involves performing a range of tasks associated with preventive maintenance and repairs on Department of Transport infrastructure, including jetties, wharfs, boat ramps, and maritime buildings along the coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing maintenance and repair work on marine structures
• Carry out general maintenance repairs and labouring as required
• Minor building asset repairs (locks, doors, etc.)
• Ensure inspection records are completed and maintained for required tasks

Requirements

• Carpentry Trade Certificate
• WA Drivers Licence – LR
• Forklift Ticket
• Construction Induction / White Card
• Confident working on and around water (rivers, oceans, beaches, etc.)
• Experience in a similar role is highly regarded
