  • We are seeking a skilled Aged Care Training Specialist to support staff performance and ongoing learning at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs that address the specific needs of staff in aged care, ensuring content aligns with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills among staff, developing or improving curriculum outlines, lesson plans, and training materials for each program.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to all staff, providing guidance on clinical skills relevant to aged care, such as medication administration, wound care, and mobility assistance.
  • Monitor and ensure all staff are up to date with their training requirements, communicating effectively with various stakeholders on training needs and delivery.
  • Implement methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs, developing individualized training plans for staff members based on their learning needs and career goals.

Requirements:

  • APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Essential)
  • Current Federal Police Certificate
  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, with clinical/care leadership experience (Desirable)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
