Learning Design Director for High-Impact Learning Experiences

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Learning Design Chapter, driving the creation and curation of high-quality learning experiences that align with our strategic goals. As a Learning Design Director, you will be responsible for developing skills in your team through effective coaching and support, and act as a strategic partner to senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on driving productivity and design excellence. They will possess strong analytical skills, ability to identify challenges, develop innovative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Inspire and lead a team of Learning professionals to deliver against HR and business outcomes.
- Develop skills in the Learning Design Chapter through effective coaching and support.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, contributing to the overall learning strategy and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implement streamlined processes for the creation, development, and delivery of learning programs.
- Foster a culture of collaboration within the Learning Design Chapter and across the organization.
Our preferred candidate will have:
- ~ 7-10 years of experience in a learning and development or learning design role.
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience in setting up or optimising design functions within a large organisation.
- Strong background in strategic planning and execution, particularly in a learning or HR context.

CompensationThe estimated salary range for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$160,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive remuneration package, including salary, superannuation, and benefits.
