**Job Title:** Nursing Practice Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Practice Leader to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting competent, compassionate, and professional nursing care for patients and families across the continuum.

The successful candidate will have a master's degree in nursing and a minimum of 5 years' experience as a critical care nurse. They will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others towards change. The ideal candidate will also have experience with the management of critically ill transplant patients and relevant professional experience in clinical nursing specialty.

As a Nursing Practice Leader, you will be responsible for providing expert-level consultation and advising clinical staff on the formulation of diagnoses and treatment plans for patients and families. You will demonstrate excellence in providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families, and promote the attainment of the goals of the patient/family plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides expert-level consultation and advises clinical staff on the formulation of diagnoses and treatment plans for patients and families.
  • Demonstrates excellence in providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families.
  • Promotes the attainment of the goals of the patient/family plan of care.
  • Acts as a content resource to colleagues, patient/families, and others as identified.
  • Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of the consultative process.
  • Supports staff at the bedside in an expanded role to provide 1:1 real-time teaching and education.
  • Participates in the attainment of the goals of the patient and family.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing required.
  • Current Massachusetts RN License required.
  • Knowledge of surgical, medical and critical care nursing required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a critical care nurse.
  • Experience with the management of critically ill transplant patients desired.
  • Some experience in a leadership role desired.
