Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager Level 1

The Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (CNUM) leads a dedicated team of nursing professionals, overseeing and supporting nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care within the unit. The role involves providing expert advice on patient management, coordinating service delivery and patient flow, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely assessments and treatments.

A key aspect of this role is effective communication with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring timely patient assessments and treatments. This requires a compassionate and adaptable leadership style in managing the Renal Unit.

In addition to supervising and supporting nursing staff, duties also involve acting as a go-to expert for patient management. Candidates must have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, relevant postgraduate qualifications in management or a relevant specialty, and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
