About the Finance Role

This is a hands-on finance position where you will have full ownership of accounting and reporting functions.

You will be a key business partner, providing financial insights while ensuring compliance and accuracy across all areas of finance.

  • Ownership and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis for informed decision-making.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process with commercial acumen.
  • Oversight of accounts payable/accounts receivable and daily cash flow management.
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory compliance obligations, including BAS, GST, FBT, and corporate tax requirements.
  • Mentor and develop a Financial Accountant while collaborating closely with the accounts team to enhance capability.
  • Maintain audit-ready status and work closely with external auditors.
  • Drive continuous improvements across finance systems and processes.

About You

  • Hold a professional qualification such as CA/CPA.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, wholesale, or FMCG industries would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and strong familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and natural leadership qualities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
