Principal Structural Engineer

This senior leadership position is designed for experienced professionals who can spearhead the design and construction of complex structures.
About the Opportunity- Develop comprehensive designs and specifications for structures, collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure feasibility and practicality.
- Oversee the execution process, ensuring designs are implemented correctly and structures meet specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with regulations and codes.
- Coordinate junior engineers and structural modellers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- A recognized Bachelor of Engineering degree and professional registration.
- Circa 7+ years of experience as a structural engineer in a consulting environment, with extensive knowledge of local building codes and standards.
- Strong site experience and exposure managing construction issues, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience liaising with project stakeholders and a comprehensive understanding of steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete, and PT concrete design and analysis.
