About The Memorial Hospital
The Memorial Hospital is a private not-for-profit hospital that offers a range of specialties, including ENT Surgery, general medicine, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, and plastic & reconstructive surgery. Our hospital is equipped with 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit, and a level 2 critical care unit.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Day Surgery Unit (Adult). The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures, and sound knowledge of Day Surgery Nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Day Surgery Unit (Adult)
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Experience in a Day Surgery Unit or similar setting
- Sound knowledge of National Safety and Quality Service Standards and ACHA policies and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
