The Role

We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Content Producer to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Technology Operations and Services Department, you will be responsible for:

  1. Assuming full creative and technical responsibility for on-site and location recording of programs.
  2. Working rostered shifts as required.
  3. Traveling locally and abroad at short notice.
  4. Liaising with the ENG Supervisor to identify and solve equipment maintenance problems and improve working practices.
  5. Providing reports and feedback where necessary or requested.
  6. Editing news items to a high standard under pressure and within tight deadlines.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A positive and enthusiastic understanding of SBS's Purpose and Values.
  • An ability to contribute to a positive culture and be a positive representative or advocate for SBS.
  • Demonstrated experience operating ENG & EFP equipment and undertaking basic repairs.
  • Demonstrated experience providing creative and technical expertise in recording on-site and on-location for all programs and events.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure.
