This is a temporary full-time position for up to 6 months with a view to ongoing employment. The role requires an experienced administration professional to support the efficient operation of the office.
About the RoleThe Administrative Officer is the initial point of contact for all enquiries. Administrative functions are central to this role to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and community groups
- Assist with daily operations, including correspondence, data entry, and filing
- Support with event planning, media releases, and other tasks as required
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community groups, government agencies, and stakeholders
- Empathy and consideration when liaising with community groups, government, and non-government organisations
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence
- Superior organisational skills to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgement and ability to perform at a high standard under limited supervision and within a team environment
