The Role

This role is responsible for providing strategic advice, guidance, and operational expertise on various topics focusing on Workplace Relations. As the subject matter expert on Industrial Relations within our organisation across Australia and New Zealand, you will play the lead role in the negotiation of all current Enterprise Agreements, Collective Agreements, Greenfield Agreements, and the resolution of Workplace Relation disputes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and finalise agreements with trade unions and employee representatives
  • Provide expert advice on employment-related legislation and regulations
  • Represent or coordinate representation for Holcim in the Australian Fair Work Commission, the Australian Human Rights Tribunal, the New Zealand Employment Court, and other employment-related jurisdictions as required
  • Work closely with the Head of People & Culture Business Partnering to ensure all employment matters are soundly managed

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Business or Law
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a senior Industrial relations role
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of all employment-related legislation
  • The ability to build trust and credible relationships and be a strong influencer without line authority
  • Prior experience working in a predominantly large, complex, multi-site blue-collar organisation

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including professional development opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
