Digital Artist Wanted for Innovative Games Studio

Our client, an innovative digital games studio in the Australian online gaming world, is seeking a talented and creative 2D Graphic Artist to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable artistic skills and strong experience in User Interface and Concept Art Design. They will work closely with the art and design teams to ensure projects are completed on time and with high quality.
This is a 3-day a week contract role with the possibility of a full-time position.
Responsibilities:- Design mobile or online game user interfaces;
- Create web designs and interfaces;
- Develop menu designs and interfaces;
- Contribute to game environments and character concept art;
- Conceptualize game assets;
- Design game design storyboards and concept art;
- Produce final production 2D game art.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in casual game concept art and UI design across multi-platform digital products;
- Advanced skills in Photoshop and Adobe CS Suite;
- Excellent drawing, sketching, and conceptualisation skills;
- Proven understanding of illustration skills;
- Knowledge of surface texture, anatomy, and architecture;
- Experience in mobile games;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to self-manage and work independently.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
