About this role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance governance and planning function in North Sydney. This senior position will provide strategic oversight of corporate finance and contribute to the decision-making process of the Executive Committee.

As a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, you will be responsible for maximising shareholder returns and undertaking relevant financial planning and analysis activities. Your expertise in interpreting results, performance indicators and trends across our businesses will help improve financial performance and meet upward reporting requirements.

You will be a leader of continual improvement, focusing on enhancing financial processes and policies to respond to future organisational needs. Strong relationship management skills are essential to cultivate effective working relationships with corporate functions while maintaining a macro view and being able to work at a detailed level.

The role is based in North Sydney, offering a vibrant and convenient location with excellent cafes and restaurants nearby.

Please note:

  • Some travel may be required for this position.

Holcim offers a competitive remuneration package including an estimated annual salary of $180,000 - $220,000 depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as superannuation, generous leave entitlements and career development opportunities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant tertiary business or accounting qualifications, preferably CPA or CA.
  • Strong experience in statutory, technical and tax accounting.
  • Extensive leadership experience in developing high-performing teams.
  • Significant experience in senior chartered audit, assurance or technical environments.
  • Industry experience in resources, engineering and construction would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical thinking, vision and leadership skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Google Drive, Excel and SAP Business Warehouse.
