As a Casual Teacher at Chisholm Institute, you will provide professional teaching and vocational expertise across all aspects of delivery, planning, and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for learners, employers, and communities.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver education practices and delivery sessions that engage learners effectively.
- Ensure teaching materials and resources meet regulatory standards, training packages, and related requirements.
- Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning.
- Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for diverse students, learning environments, facilities, and resources.
- Undertake administrative, coordination, and learning services activities related to the areas taught.
- Assist in establishing, maintaining, and reviewing teaching programs.
- Maintain a respectful and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools. You have a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching, and learning.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent industry VET qualifications in areas such as IT, Games Technology, and Cyber Security.
