About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Leader to join our team as a Deli Department Manager at Coles. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the deli department, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality products, and a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of deli department staff to achieve sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements
- Monitor and maintain excellent department standards, including stock management, rotation routines, wastage, shrinkage, and quality control
- Develop and implement processes to simplify operations and adhere to strict audit, food safety, and compliance standards
- Drive a culture of teamwork, celebrating success and prioritizing team members' health, safety, and wellbeing
- Deliver an outstanding shopping experience for our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
About You
We are looking for a candidate with previous experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment, with direct or indirect leadership experience. You should have a strong ability to lead, coach, and develop your team, as well as maintain excellent department standards.
