About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Partner to join our dynamic People Division team, reporting to an inspiring Head of People. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Victorian operations division, Business Development department, and Learning and Development team.

You will leverage your expertise across the entire employee lifecycle, addressing complex issues such as performance management, grievance resolution, leadership coaching, and change management. This is a 16-month parental fixed-term contract, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact during your time with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic partner to our leaders, aligning people initiatives with business objectives.
  • Partner with department heads to understand business needs and provide tailored people solutions
  • Support and influence business leaders in driving employee engagement, performance and development.
  • Support change management and organisational development initiatives

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, navigating complex issues and building trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Requirements
  • Completion of a graduate degree or relevant industry certification
  • Strong team player with a cooperative approach
  • Proven experience delivering results as a P&C business partner
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • High levels of enthusiasm and drive
  • Experience in supporting cultural change initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and other relevant legislation
  • Experience dealing with complex, sensitive inquiries and conversations with discretion
  • Ability to navigate fast-paced, complex work environments
  • Possess a current Victorian Driver Licence

The salary for this role is approximately $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
